Experience Deposit & Refund Policy

To secure participation in a Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise experience, an Experience Deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable and non-cancellable.

All payments made directly to Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise are non-refundable and non-cancellable under any circumstances, except as explicitly required by applicable law.

By placing an Experience Deposit, you acknowledge that you are purchasing services that begin immediately and that you do not have a right to cancel for a refund.

Due to the limited-capacity nature of the Pickleball programming offered both onboard and ashore, Experience Deposits are required to reserve and hold participation space within the Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise experience.

Once an Experience Deposit has been received, it confirms your participation and allows Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise to begin coordinating key elements of the Guest experience, including reserving limited program space, scheduling Pickleball court time, coordinating instruction with Pickleball Professionals, organizing exclusive activities, and managing reservation logistics with our travel partners.

Payments Made to Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise

Any payments made directly to Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise are non-refundable and non-cancellable. These payments are associated with the planning, coordination, and delivery of the Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise experience and related programming.

This includes, but is not limited to, Experience Deposits, Pickleball program participation fees, and special event or program-related payments.

Reservation Processing & Program Planning Services

The Experience Deposit represents payment for reservation processing, administrative services, and program planning associated with your participation in the Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise experience.

These services begin immediately upon receipt of the Experience Deposit and include reserving limited Pickleball program capacity, coordinating court schedules and instruction, securing instructor availability, planning exclusive Pickleball activities and experiences, managing reservation logistics with our travel partners, allocating limited participation space that may no longer be made available to other Guests, and involve the immediate allocation of limited resources, instructor time, and program capacity that cannot be reversed once reserved.

Because these services begin immediately upon receipt and involve limited-capacity programming and opportunity cost, the Experience Deposit is considered fully earned upon receipt and is therefore non-refundable and non-cancellable.

Failure to Complete Reservation

If a Guest places an Experience Deposit but fails to complete required reservation steps, including providing necessary information or completing payment requirements within a reasonable timeframe, Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise reserves the right to cancel the reservation. In such cases, all payments made shall remain non-refundable.

Payments Made to the Cruise Line

Payments associated with your cruise vacation itself, including the Stateroom Deposit and Cruise Final Payment, are not paid to Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise.

These payments are processed directly with the cruise line through our travel provider, Escape Group Cruises, and are subject to the cruise line’s cancellation policies, payment schedules, and terms and conditions.

Guests should refer to the cruise line’s official policies for details regarding stateroom deposit refunds, final payment schedules, and applicable cancellation penalties.

Program Modifications

Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise reserves the right to modify, substitute, or adjust any aspect of the Pickleball program, including instructors, schedules, locations, and activities, at any time due to operational needs, availability, weather, sea conditions, or other factors.

Such changes do not constitute grounds for a refund.

In the event that Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise cancels the Pickleball Experience in its entirety, any compensation, including potential future credits, will be provided at the sole discretion of Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise.

No Partial Refunds

No refunds, credits, or adjustments will be provided for any unused portion of the Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise experience, including missed activities, late arrivals, early departures, or voluntary non-participation.

Transfer Option

While Experience Deposits are non-refundable, Guests who are unable to travel may request to transfer their Experience Deposit to another Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise sailing.

Transfer requests must be made no later than seven (7) days prior to the departure date of the originally scheduled sailing.

Experience Deposit transfers apply only to payments made directly to Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise and do not apply to any payments made to third-party providers, including but not limited to cruise lines, travel providers, hotels, or transportation services. All third-party payments remain subject to their respective policies.

Transfers are subject to availability on the new sailing, and Guests are responsible for any price differences associated with the new sailing or experience. No price protection is provided.

Except as expressly provided in this section, Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise reservations are non-transferable.

Goodwill Future Cruise Credit

At the sole discretion of Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise, a Goodwill Future Cruise Credit may be issued in place of a refund in certain circumstances.

Goodwill Future Cruise Credits apply only to Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise offerings and may not be applied toward any payments made to third-party providers, including but not limited to cruise lines, travel providers, hotels, or transportation services.

Goodwill Future Cruise Credits have no cash value, are non-refundable and non-transferable, must be used within two (2) years from the date of issue unless otherwise stated, may only be redeemed by contacting Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise directly, and are subject to availability and any applicable price differences for the new offering.

The issuance of a Goodwill Future Cruise Credit does not create any obligation for Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise to provide similar accommodations in the future.

Travel Insurance

Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise strongly recommends the purchase of Travel Insurance to protect your travel investment and provide coverage for circumstances that may prevent you from traveling.

Guest Acknowledgment

By submitting an Experience Deposit, the Guest acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise Experience Deposit & Refund Policy, including the non-refundable and non-cancellable nature of payments made directly to Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise.

Guests further acknowledge that the Experience Deposit represents a valid charge for reservation processing, administrative services, and program planning services that begin immediately upon payment.

Payment Disputes

Guests agree to contact Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise directly, by phone at 812-827-8473 and email at fun@escapegroupcruises.com and allow a reasonable opportunity for resolution, not less than ten (10) business days, before initiating any credit card dispute or chargeback.

Initiating a chargeback for a charge that is consistent with this policy, including payments for services that have already commenced, may be considered a material breach of the reservation agreement.

Policy Exceptions

This policy applies to all Guests and all cancellations, regardless of the reason for cancellation, including but not limited to personal circumstances, scheduling conflicts, illness, travel disruptions, weather events, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise reserves the right to make exceptions to this policy only where required by applicable law.
