What Makes Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise Different From Other Pickleball Vacations?
Everything. While many Pickleball vacations offer courts and instruction at a single destination, Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise is built entirely differently—and the difference is something our Guests feel from the very first day.
Every cruise features a dedicated Trip Leader who guides the group experience from start to finish—building community, bringing people together and making sure every single Guest feels included and part of something special. Combined with a small and intentionally intimate group size, this creates a warmth and camaraderie that simply cannot be replicated at a resort or on a standard cruise.
On the court, you play onboard AND ashore—at world class facilities across the Caribbean and Bahamas, including on select cruises the very same top resorts and facilities that some land based Pickleball vacation companies use as their sole destination. Off the court, exclusive Pickleball Seminars, our famous Photo and Video Scavenger Hunt, Pickleball Trivia nights, nightly group dinners, our beloved 70s and 80s Dance Party and the incredible amenities of a Royal Caribbean cruise ship ensure the fun never stops.
And perhaps most surprisingly—all of this comes at a price that is significantly lower than comparable land based Pickleball vacation alternatives. More Pickleball. More destinations. More memories. For less.

How Much Does a Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise Cost and How Do I Book?

And when you consider everything that's included—all onboard meals, world-class Pickleball programming, exclusive ashore experiences, a dedicated Trip Leader, and the incredible amenities of a Royal Caribbean cruise ship—the value is simply unmatched in the world of Pickleball travel.

Is Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise Right for My Skill Level?
Absolutely—and this is one of our favorite questions to answer. Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise proudly welcomes players of every skill level, from complete beginners picking up a paddle for the very first time to experienced competitive players looking to sharpen their game at the highest level.
Our renowned Pickleball Pro designs every session with skill based groupings in mind—so whether you're a beginner building your foundation, an intermediate player looking to elevate your game or an advanced player seeking high intensity drilling and competitive match play, you'll always be challenged at exactly the right level. Nobody feels out of place. Nobody feels held back.
Not sure where you fall? No problem. Every Guest completes a Pre-Cruise Survey before boarding and our Pickleball Pro personally assesses every player early in the sailing to ensure everyone is placed in the perfect group. From there, groups can be adjusted throughout the cruise to make sure every Guest is getting the most out of every session.
Whatever your level—your Pickleball vacation starts here.
I'm Traveling Solo—Will I Fit In?
Without a doubt—and you wouldn't be alone. Solo Guests join us on every sailing, and many of our most loyal returning Guests originally joined us on their own.
From the moment you board, our dedicated Trip Leader makes it a priority to ensure every solo Guest feels welcomed, included and connected. You'll be placed in a skill-based group with fellow players, invited to every nightly group dinner, included in all exclusive group activities and events, and surrounded by a warm community of fellow Pickleball enthusiasts who all share the same passion for the sport.
Many of our solo Guests tell us that by the end of the sailing, they've made friendships that extend well beyond the cruise—returning year after year with the friends they met onboard. If you're thinking about joining us solo, our advice is simple—do it. You won't regret it.
When Should I Arrive for my Pickleball Cruise?
We strongly recommend arriving the day before your cruise. On most sailings, Pickleball begins at 9:00AM on the first morning of your cruise—and the last thing you want is a travel delay costing you time on the court. Arriving the day before protects the start of your Pickleball vacation and gives you time to settle in and explore your departure city before boarding.
It also means you can take advantage of our optional Day 0, Pre-Cruise Offering—available on every sailing. Day 0 includes airport pickup, a hotel stay, and transportation directly to your cruise ship the following morning, so you can arrive stress-free and focused on nothing but enjoying your Pickleball vacation from day one.
Do I Need a Passport?
While a passport is not required for all Guests, we strongly recommend traveling with one. If you do not have a passport and wish to cruise with us, please contact us for a complete list of acceptable travel documents. Please note that each Guest is individually responsible for ensuring they have proper documentation to set sail.
Is There a Maximum Number of Guests on Each Sailing?
Yes—and that's exactly the point. While you'll be sailing onboard a full Royal Caribbean cruise ship with fellow passengers, Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise is intentionally designed as a small, intimate group experience within that larger sailing. We cap our exclusive group at approximately 40 Guests to ensure everyone enjoys ample court time, personalized attention from our Pickleball Pro, and the kind of close-knit community that makes this Pickleball vacation unlike anything else out there.
Once our group is full, we open a waitlist—so we always encourage Guests to reserve their spot early.
Do You Offer Trip Insurance?
Yes—and we strongly recommend it. Trip insurance can be added to your reservation during Step 2 of our easy 3-step booking process, right when you select your stateroom. Life happens, and having the right coverage in place means you can book your Pickleball vacation with complete peace of mind.
If you have any questions about trip insurance options, our Team is happy to help. Call us at 812-827-8473 or click here to get in touch.
Where Will I Play Pickleball?
You'll play both onboard and ashore—and that's what makes this Pickleball vacation truly unique.
Onboard: You'll enjoy exclusive group court time throughout your sailing—with instruction, drills, strategy sessions, Pickleball Seminars, and open play all led by a renowned Pickleball Pro. Every session is designed around your skill level, so whether you're a beginner or an advanced player, you're always challenged at exactly the right level.
Ashore: Every Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise includes at least two Exclusive Local Pickleball Experiences at world-class facilities and resorts across the Caribbean and Bahamas—with specific venues varying based on your cruise and itinerary. On select cruises, Guests play at The Fort in Fort Lauderdale—the official home of the APP Tour—as well as Baha Mar Resort in Nassau, Bahamas and other elite facilities and resorts across the Caribbean.
No land-based Pickleball vacation can take you to multiple elite venues across multiple destinations in a single trip. This one does.
Are Pickleball Lessons Included?
Yes—all Pickleball programming is included. Your Pickleball vacation includes group lessons, drills, strategy sessions, Pickleball Seminars and open play, all led by our renowned Pickleball Pro at no additional cost. Whether you're a beginner picking up a paddle for the first time or an advanced player looking to sharpen your game, world-class instruction is built into every single sailing.
Will Wind or Ship Movement Affect Pickleball Play?
Rarely. Playing Pickleball onboard is almost identical to playing outdoors on land. Just like not every outdoor venue is ideal for Pickleball, not every cruise ship is built for it either—and that's exactly why we're extremely intentional about the ships we sail on. Royal Caribbean ships are equipped with advanced stabilizers that keep things remarkably smooth, and most Guests forget they're even on a ship within minutes of stepping on the court.
We're equally intentional about the time of year we travel and the itineraries we choose—all with the best possible playing conditions in mind. On the rare occasion conditions shift, our Pickleball Pro adjusts seamlessly with modified drills or fun group activities so the experience stays great no matter what.
Can My Travel Companion Join If They Don't Play Pickleball?
Absolutely—and they'll have an incredible time as well! Non-playing companions are always welcome and are invited to every nightly group dinner, social event, themed party, and shore excursion. Beyond the group experience, a Royal Caribbean cruise ship offers endless ways to spend the day—pools, hot tubs, spa, fitness center, Broadway-style shows, comedy clubs, live music, and more.
Do I Have to Participate in All Pickleball Activities?
Not at all—this is your vacation. Join the sessions you love, relax by the pool, explore the ship, or venture ashore on your own. The Pickleball programming is there for you whenever you want it, and completely flexible when you don't.
What makes Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise different from a regular cruise with Pickleball courts?
A lot! Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise is a full Pickleball vacation experience that happens to be on a cruise ship—and the difference is enormous.
We offer private court access, structured daily instruction led by a renowned Pickleball Pro, exclusive in port experiences at world-class facilities, Pickleball seminars, nightly group dinners, curated social events, and a built-in community of fellow enthusiasts. From the moment you board to the final sail-away, every element of your trip is intentionally designed around delivering the best Pickleball vacation possible.
Do You Offer Payment Plans?
Yes—we want to make your Pickleball vacation as accessible as possible. Once your Experience Deposit and Stateroom Deposit are paid, you can make additional payments at any time before your final payment date. Monthly payment plans are also available by request.
To set up a monthly payment plan or ask any questions about pricing, give us a call at 812-827-8473 or click here to get in touch.
